Marcus Aemilius Aemilianus (in Latin: MARCVS ÆMILIVS ÆMILIANVS; Djerba, about 207 AD - SPOLETIVM (Spoleto), September 253 AD) was LEGATVS (Legate) in MOESIA INFERIOR (Lower Mesia) defeated the goths and was proclaimed emperor by his army. Marching towards Italy he met the armies of the two emperors TREBONIANVS (Trebonianus) and VOLVSIANVS (Volusianus), who were killed by their own militias. He was recognized emperor by the SENATVS ROMANVS (Roman Senate), to which he submitted, but with this gesture he hit the soldiers who, after three months of empire, killed him at SPOLETIVM (Spoleto).
