CORBVLO (Corbulo's) catapult

In 60 AD, when CNÆVS DOMITIVS CORBVLO (Cnaeus Domitius Corbulo) the great general of the emperor NERO (Nero), according to FRONTINVS SEXTVS IVLIVS FRONTINVS (Sextus Julius Frontinus) when the Roman army arrived in Tigranocerta, the capital of the Armenians, these launched the head of an Armenian nobleman, who had conspired to kill CORBVLO (Corbulo). This landed right in the place where the city council had met; they immediately decided to surrender, thus handing over the city to the Romans, which was consequently spared.
